LONDON, March 11 (Online): Efforts are being made to uplift the standard of the game of football in Pakistan.
This was stated by President Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat during a meeting with Vice Chairman of Arsenal Football Club David B. Dien at Arsenal Football Club Stadium in London on Thursday.
David B. Dien and Faisal Saleh Hayat who is also Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Northern Areas agreed that potential of football can be utilized for nurturing goodwill between peoples and respective football clubs of Pakistan and United Kingdom.
The Vice Chairman of Arsenal Club said that possibilities of collaboration between Arsenal and PFF are possible to be explored in the fields of coaching, marketing and provision of link between Arsenal, World Football Federation and PFF.
Later Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat presented a crest of Pakistan Football Federation to David B. Dien.
David B. Dien thanked Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat for paying a visit to his club.
Joint Secretary Azad Jammu and Kashmir Council Secretariat Faridullah Khan was also with the minister during the visit.
