KARACHI: Asian Football Confederation’s (AFC) representative Hussain Askari of Iran will land here on April 2 to assess the performance of Pakistan’s referee Hidayatullah, ‘The News’ learnt on Tuesday.
The Iranian will observe Hidayatullah, who hails from Nushki, in the semi-final of the National Football Challenge Cup at the KPT Stadium on April 3.
This will be the second time that Hidayat’s performance will be assessed by an official of the continental body. If successful, he will be put on the AFC elite panel and will be eligible to supervise AFC competitions.
