Khan Muhammad Memorial FC (Baldia Town) of Karachi Zonal FA West formally announced to change its name in honour of late Zone West Senior Vice Chairman, Syed Liaquat Ali Shah who passed away last month in a tragic road accident aged just 35.
Club secretary and Zone West member Iqbal Minhas explained the club’s decision to rename itself in memory of Syed Liaquat Shah to honour his tremendous promotion and love of football across Karachi as well as whole of Sindh during his short-lived life.
Iqbal Minhas stated that he has formally submitted a name-change application to Zone West FA office to complete all legal proceedings.
